This offering will strengthen participants’ understanding of their baptismal identity. Together we will explore our essential role in the Church’s mission, reflect on our unique gifts, and awaken a renewed commitment to service in the Church and the world. Let us breathe new passion into your ministers today!
During this inspirational gathering, participants will be invited into an experience guided by the Catholic principle of lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi. Through a series of dynamic presentations, participants will explore the theology of the sacrament of baptism and the effects it has on missionary discipleship. A powerful ritual experience will provide a time for reflection on the signs and symbols of baptism. After they renew their baptismal promises, attendees will be directed to consider ways they can live out their priestly, prophetic, and royal roles in the community. This gathering is designed to deepen one’s understanding of baptismal living so they may cooperate more fully with the Holy Spirit in renewing the face of the earth.
This dynamic workshop is for all who desire to see their parish communities thrive and grow. The facilitator will present the theology of baptism as it relates to the everyday life of the Church’s members. Parishioners will be invited to explore the different aspects of baptismal living and identify how this is present in the life of their community. Participants will engage in several small-group discussions to identify the obstacles and opportunities present in their parish. Attendees will be inspired and renewed in their commitment to ministry and service; the facilitator will work with them to identify priorities and next steps for parish renewal.
In this presentation, parishioners will be invited to reflect on their baptismal identity. As royal, holy, and prophetic disciples of Jesus, we come together and form the Mystical Body of Christ. We are nourished by the Eucharist so that we may transform the world by our witness. Participants in this event will be inspired to delve deeper into the potential impact baptism has on the life of their parish and community.
This option is also available as a virtual presentation.
